Fair Use Remix Idea

My idea for the Fair Use Remix Assignment is to edit speeches given by President Obama to make it seem as though he is singing "Wrecking Ball" by Miley Cyrus.

Audio Story Blog Post

1. Who is (are) your partner(s)
• Delaney Mahaney and Courtney Kaadi
2. Describe your idea for the audio story
• Courtney will tell the story of when she was injured falling off her horse.
3. Describe the conflict in your audio story
• The conflict is how she overcame the injury and kept riding.
4. Describe where and how you will create the audio for your project
• We will create the project in a quite place using a recording device.
5. Describe the location sound or sound effects you plan on using
• We will use sound effects going in and out of the news story.

Campaign Ad Logo

The design process involved first the drawing of the tree, then we scanned the drawing and delivered it to our desktop. We colored the tree in photoshop and then added text of our Campaign name (WWPP) to the logo. We decided on using a tree as our logo because our campaign is for wilderness and wildlife protection and we thought that a tree was a universal depiction of the wilderness.

The Wilderness and Wildlife Preservation Project

Molly Faris, Delaney Mahaney, & Courtney Kaadi

We are campaigning to encourage people to help preserve and maintain wilderness and wildlife throughout the United States. We plan to use humor but also a hint of seriousness to communicate the cause.

Adjustment Layers

First adjustment was brightness on contrast only on the person in the image because I feel like the person needed to be brought out more as the focus of the photo.

Second, I played around with curves.

Third, I played around with the levels of the picture.

 

And finally, I added vibrancy and saturation for the final product. I think this brought out the overall picture to look more focused.
